Unternehmensgegenstand

Die Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften (ÖAW) hat den gesetzlichen Auftrag, die Wissenschaft in jeder Hinsicht zu fördern. Als Gelehrtengesellschaft pflegt die ÖAW den Diskurs und die Zusammenarbeit der Wissenschaft mit Öffentlichkeit, Politik und Wirtschaft.

Das Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities (ACDH) ist ein Institut der ÖAW, das mit dem Ziel gegründet wurde, digitale Methoden und Ansätze in den geisteswissenschaftlichen Disziplinen zu fördern. Das ACDH unterstützt digitale Forschung in vielfältiger Weise.

  • Fondation Martin Bodmer: Die von der Fondation Martin Bodmer erzeugten Digitalisate gemeinfreier Vorlagen bleiben gemeinfrei und sind daher mit der Public Domain Mark 1.0 gekennzeichnet. Dies gilt für die auf Schubert-digital dargestellten Digitalisate der Autographe mit der Signatur Aut. S-38.1, Aut. S-38.2, Aut. S-38.3 und Aut. S-38.4.
  • Houghton Library, Harvard University, Cambridge: Die Houghton Library verlangt, unter Voraussetzung der Namensnennung, keine Genehmigung für die Veröffentlichung der von ihr digitalisierten Schubert-Handschriften (siehe Nutzungshinweise). Die Houghton Library selbst hält keinerlei Rechte an den Digitalisaten.
  • Jagiellonische Bibliothek, Jagiellonen-Universität, Krakau: Die von der Jagiellonischen Bibliothek erzeugten Digitalisate gemeinfreier Vorlagen bleiben, unter Voraussetzung der Namensnennung, gemeinfrei und sind daher mit der Public Domain Mark 1.0 gekennzeichnet. Dies gilt für die auf Schubert-digital dargestellten Digitalisate des Autographs mit der Signatur Berol. Mus. ms. autogr. Schubert 6.
  • Library of Congress, Music Division, Washington, D.C.: Die Music Division der Library of Congress stimmt, unter Voraussetzung der Namensnennung, der beabsichtigten Nutzung der von ihr digitalisierten Schubert-Handschriften durch die Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften für das Projekt Schubert-digital zu. Die Library of Congress selbst hält keinerlei Rechte an den Digitalisaten.
  • Musikarchiv des Stiftes Klosterneuburg: Die vom Musikarchiv des Stiftes Klosterneuburg erzeugten Digitalisate gemeinfreier Vorlagen bleiben gemeinfrei und sind daher mit der Public Domain Mark 1.0 gekennzeichnet. Dies gilt für die auf Schubert-digital dargestellten Digitalisate des Autographs mit der Signatur A-KN MA 1336.
  • National Library of Norway: Die Digitalisate der National Library of Norway, die auf Schubert-digital dargestellt werden, unterliegen der Lizenz CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.
  • Newberry Library, Chicago: Die Newberry Library stimmt, unter Voraussetzung der Namensnennung, der beabsichtigten Nutzung der von ihr digitalisierten Schubert-Handschriften durch die Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften für das Projekt Schubert-digital zu (siehe Nutzungshinweise).
  • New York Public Library: Die New York Public Library verlangt, unter Voraussetzung der Namensnennung, keine Genehmigung für die Veröffentlichung der von ihr digitalisierten Schubert-Handschriften. Die New York Public Library selbst begreift die Autographe sowie die erzeugten Digitalisate als gemeinfrei, hat jedoch keine Feststellung hinsichtlich des urheberrechtlichen Status nach den Urheberrechtsgesetzen anderer Länder getroffen.
  • Österreichische Nationalbibliothek: Die Österreichische Nationalbibliothek hält auf ihren Webseiten Inhalte bzw. Digitalisate von ihren Beständen online abrufbar. An diesen Inhalten macht die Österreichische Nationalbibliothek kein eigenes urheberrechtliches Verwertungsrecht geltend. Sie erklärt sich insofern auch mit einer Nachnutzung dieser Inhalte in der abrufbaren Webauflösung ausdrücklich einverstanden. Bei einer Nutzung dieser Inhalte ersucht die Bibliothek um die Angabe eines Bildnachweises (Titel, Datierung und weitere verfügbare Beschreibungen) und um eine Quellenangabe (Zitierlink aus [Portal] und der Verweis „[Portal]/Österreichische Nationalbibliothek“) (siehe die Nutzungshinweise der Österreichischen Nationalbibliothek). Dies gilt für die auf Schubert-digital dargestellten Digitalisate.
  • Princeton University Library, Special Collections Department (Scheide Library): Die Princeton University Library verlangt, unter Voraussetzung der Namensnennung, keine Genehmigung für die Veröffentlichung der von ihr digitalisierten Schubert-Handschriften (siehe Nutzungshinweise).
  • Sibley Music Library, Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester, NY: Die von der Sibley Music Library erzeugten Digitalisate gemeinfreier Vorlagen bleiben, unter Voraussetzung der Namensnennung, gemeinfrei und sind daher mit der Public Domain Mark 1.0 gekennzeichnet.
  • Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin – Preußischer Kulturbesitz: Die von der Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin erzeugten Digitalisate gemeinfreier Vorlagen bleiben gemeinfrei und sind daher mit der Public Domain Mark 1.0 gekennzeichnet (siehe die Nutzungshinweise der Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin – Preußischer Kulturbesitz). Dies gilt für die auf Schubert-digital dargestellten Digitalisate.
  • Stanford University Libraries: Die Stanford University Libraries verlangen, unter Voraussetzung der Namensnennung, keine Genehmigung für die Veröffentlichung der von ihr digitalisierten Schubert-Handschriften. Die Stanford University Libraries selbst begreifen die Schubert-Handschriften sowie die erzeugten Digitalisate als gemeinfrei.
  • Universitetsbiblioteket Lund: Die von der Universitetsbiblioteket Lund erzeugten Digitalisate gemeinfreier Vorlagen bleiben gemeinfrei und sind daher mit der Public Domain Mark 1.0 gekennzeichnet (siehe die Copyright-Vereinbarungen). Dies gilt für die auf Schubert-digital dargestellten Digitalisate.
  • University of Cambridge, The Fitzwilliam Museum: Das Fitzwilliam Museum gestattet dem Projekt Schubert-digital am ACDH das nicht exklusive, nicht übertragbare und nicht unterlizenzierbare Nutzungsrecht der Digitalisate der Autographe mit den Signaturen Mu.Ms.615, Mu.Ms.616, Mu.Ms.617, Mu.Ms.686A, Mu.Ms.686B, Mu.Ms.686C und Mu.Ms.1165.
  • University of Texas at Austin, Harry Ransom Center: Das Harry Ransom Center der University of Texas at Austin erlaubt die Veröffentlichung der Digitalisate der Autographe von D 228 und D 229 aus dem Ordner "osf 81" (Carlton Lake Collection of French Manuscripts) durch die Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften für das Projekt Schubert-digital, unter Voraussetzung der Namensnennung.
  • Wienbibliothek im Rathaus: Urheberrechtsfreie Werke sind mit der Lizenz Creative Commons Gemeinfrei 1.0 versehen (siehe die Nutzungshinweise der Wienbibliothek im Rathaus). Dies gilt für die auf Schubert-digital dargestellten Digitalisate.

Nature and purpose of the business

The Austrian Academy of Sciences (OEAW) has the legal duty to support the sciences and humanities in every respect. As a learned society, the OEAW fosters discourse and cooperation between science and society, politics and economy.

The Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities (ACDH) is an OEAW institute founded with the goal to support digital methods and approaches in arts and humanities disciplines. The ACDH supports digital research in manifold ways.
